Sponsorship Request for Children of the Academy
The Masiphumelele Chess Academy is an organisation that has been nurturing young minds in the art of chess for several years. Our primary goal is to provide a safe and enriching environment for children to develop thinking skills. strategic planning abilities and sportsmanship through the game of chess. We have witnessed remarkable growth and transformation in the young participants, both academically and personally.
We are requesting your kind support and sponsorship for the children of our club, many of whom come from the disadvantaged families of Masiphumelele. A significant challenge that we face, is ensuring that that our children have the opportunity to participate in league matches and tournaments held around Western Cape. The Academy is also in need of a demo board, in order to do proper coaching.
Transportation and registration to these events pose a financial challenge. It is our belief, that by exposing the children to competitive play beyond our local club meets, we can foster a greater sense of achievement and provide valuable life lessons that extend far beyond the chessboard. We humbly request your financial support to cover these costs.
